2019 ACE Scholarship Overview  (Application is at the bottom of the page)

Triple Tree is proud to offer multiple types of scholarship opportunities as part of our ACE Portfolio that are critical to student success.  Each scholarship application will be reviewed by the Triple Tree Executive Director and final approval will be given by the Triple Tree Board of Directors. 

The application window for the scholarships opens on November 1, 2019 and closes on November 15, 2019.   Applications will be reviewed between November 16, 2019, and November 31, 2019. If your application is selected, you will be asked to interview with a committee either in person or via skype. Winners will be announced at the Triple Tree Christmas party on December 13, 2019

2019 Triple Tree ACE Scholarships:   *For the complete overview click here*

Aviation:  One (1) $1000 award                                                                                     Ages: 16-25

This scholarship is focused on individuals who have yet to complete a solo flight in a powered aircraft or completed their Private Pilots certification. The funds from this scholarship would provide an induvial an opportunity to complete either of these milestones. Preference is given to students in Greenville, Spartanburg, or Laurens Counties

Radio or Remote Control:  One (1) $1,000 award                                                        Ages:  12-25

This scholarship is offered to individuals who are pursuing radio or remote-controlled activities. This scholarship is offered to help offset the cost of entry fees, travel, and maintenance with the radio or remote-controlled hobby. Preference is given to graduates of the ACE RC Program. 

Mechanic:  One (1) $1000 award                                                                                  Ages:  17-25

This scholarship is offered help aspiring students in the airframe and powerplant career to pay for testing supplies or purchase tools suitable to enter the workforce.  Preference is given to students attending schools in Greenville, Spartanburg, or Laurens Counties.

Continuing Education:  One (1) $1000 award                                                              Ages: 18-25

This scholarship is available to individuals enrolled at institutions of higher learning (Technical, College, or University) to help offset the cost with higher levels of education. Preference is given to aviation related disciplines.

Career:  One (1) $1000 award                                                                                       Ages: 18-25

This scholarship is available to individuals who can use this award to purchase supplies or other items that are directly related to future career goals.  Preference is given to aviation related careers.

Teacher:  Two (2) $500 awards                                                                                   K-12 Teacher

This scholarship is offered to K-12 teachers who can incorporate the STEM principles in aviation into their classroom activities.   Preference is given to teachers in Greenville, Spartanburg, or Laurens Counties.
