 Lowcountry Boil Dinner

Wednesday 6:30PM

Definition: Lowcountry Ė geographic and cultural region located along South Carolinaís coast. Once known for its agricultural wealth, the Lowcountry today is known internationally for its historic cities, its natural beauty, its unique cultural heritage and most of all, its dang good food!

You just about canít go to any sort of gathering in South Carolina without experiencing one of the very best recipes that ever came out of our area known as Lowcountry boil. Itís always a favorite here and even our northern friends find it deeelicious! So, what is Lowcountry boil? First, you get a BIG pot of water and heat it to a rolling boil. Then, at just the right time for each, you add Kielbasa sausage, ears of corn, potatoes, lots of shrimp and a special mix of spices that just make the whole thing taste out of this world. Once everything is done just right (the shrimp donít take long), you scoop it out and put everything out in a huge bowl. The smell alone will make you seriously consider moving if you donít already live here. Serve this up with a side of homemade slaw and youíre well on the way to heaven.

So, as a special surprise, Triple Tree is going to offer this incredible meal to a limited number of Joe Nall Week guests. Our Lowcountry boil will be held Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm on the hangar patio. Cost is $19 per person and tickets can be purchased Online on registration and if any are left at Welcome Center.
